When used in the Bird Buffer, MA is an efficient
fluid for the management of nuisance birds. It does not harm
the birds or other animals, people or equipment. MA (methyl
anthranilate) is a naturally occurring compound made
from grapes. It has been used in bubble gum, fragrance in
laundry detergent, food additives, as well as perfumes.
As a proactive method, it no longer depends
on birds needing to taste the chemical by eating treated food.
New technology now relies on the exposure of the nano-particles
in the air to flying birds. By producing nano-particles in
the air (small particles of transparent fog without heat)
less fluid causes less residue with the lowest scent ever.
After several exposures to the nano-particles in the air,
(2-14 days) the birds generally leave the area. The automated
system inhibits any future re-infestation from new bird populations
and assures a total bird free environment.
